As part of the various positions that are available You could be responsible for Handling the complete day to day Operations of the hostel, Coordinating Activities and Tours in-house or around the city, Guest Interaction, Capturing moments with guests and creating memories through Photographs, Creating Magic with your social media expertise, Designing the hostels with love and grit and lots more. Role of Manager (Front-desk)

The main responsibility will be to ensure that the guests at the hostel have a comfortable stay. The responsibilities will include

  1. Overseeing day-to-day operations including check-in/check outs, guestsā€™ queries, maintaining guest records, housekeeping, etc.
  2. Managing the daily accounts
  3. Managing staff and vendors responsible for cleaning, security, supplies, etc.
  4. Quality control and maintenance
  5. Ensuring the regular housekeeping, maintenance of the rooms
  6. Being up to date about the activities and events happening in the hostel and around the city
  7. Ensuring that Guests have a great time and convert their happiness into great reviews

Role of Property Manager

  1. Manage front desk operations and Managers
  2. Overseeing day-to-day operations including check-in/check outs, guestsā€™ queries, maintaining guest records, housekeeping, etc.
  3. Handle Guest interaction In person and also Email correspondence
  4. Staff interactions/management with housekeeping staff and external vendors
  5. Quality control and maintenance
  6. Manage back-office systems and processes
  7. Adhere to finance and accounting standards incl. daily accounts
  8. Being up to date about the activities and events happening in the hostel and around the city
  9. Ensuring that Guests have a great time and convert their happiness into great reviews
  10. Responsible to execute the tasks which will be inclusive always

Ā Role of Guest Relations Manager/ Activity Coordinator

  1. Handle Guest interactions
  2. Curate experiences for guests by conducting various kinds of heritage walking tours, movie nights, food tours, and any other activity that connects them to the local culture
  3. Being up to date about the activities and events happening in the hostel and around the city
  4. Ensuring that Guests have a great time and convert their happiness into great reviews

Ā Role ofĀ Housekeeping Staff

  1. Ensure property is in its most presentable condition at all time
    1. Make beds and bathrooms and upkeep of room
    2. Maintain cleanliness of common areas at all times
  2. Handle Guest interactions
  3. Coordinating with Front Desk Managers and Property Managers for work
  4. Quality control and maintenance

While there are no minimum educational qualifications for the aboveĀ roles, there are some qualities that will be important:

  1. Fluency in English: ability to both understand and communicate with the guests
  2. Basic computer skills: some experience in working with computers, typing, Microsoft Excel, etc. The front-desk management software will be taught on the job
  3. Energy and willingness to learn and enjoy

Currently searching for a Human Resource Specialist to Aid the Operations team in improving performance on Customer service, Team motivation and teamwork. Ability to work closely with all departments to prioritize efforts while providing timely and high-quality service is extremely essential.

Training and DevelopmentĀ 

  • Provides necessary education and materials to managers and employees including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks, and standardized reports.
  • Passion for Training – Customer Service Training, Communication, Coaching, and readiness to create value.
  • Train, assess and implement activities to effect improvement in e-mail writing skills and grammar.
  • Implement language and culture modules training on a recursive basis

HR Generalist

  • Posses Strong recruitment skills and strong hands on experience in job portals.
  • Maintain employee-related databases, create employee contracts and maintain employee records
  • Prepares and analyse periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested.
  • Ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances to maintain cordial management – employee relations and to achieve a committed workforce.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and look beyond current role openings and identify strong industry talent.

  • Must be a self-starter, possess an enthusiastic approach and can lead to drive deliverables and tasks to completion.
